VMware has posted the Release Candidate for Workstaiton 7.0, ACE 2.6 and Player 3.0! We have primarily addressed graphics, installation, performance issues and bugs reported from our users and have not added significant new features to the release candidate.

Many of you will be happy to know that the Release Candidate ships with the release binaries instead of the debug binaries so they should be a little faster and most of the drivers have been signed in preparation for our general release. We have also made Workstation available with and without VMware Tools included in the initial download for users who like the dynamic updates and those who want to download everything in order to run offline.

Please download the latest version and submit your feedback in the forums. We really would like as many users as possible to put this version through its paces and let us know what you find.
