今天，NV官方更新的179.48 Beta版已经解决了这些问题。新驱动包编译日期为2009年1月30日，集成PhysX v9.09.0010。虽然仍然不是WHQL正式版本，但在上一版本支持GeForce 8M、GeForce 9M以及Quadro NVS系列的基础上，179.48 Beta版新增支持的移动显卡包括：

可以看到，除了比较古老的GeForce Go 7系列外，179.48版中新增支持的移动显卡还包括支持Hybrid SLI的最新GeForce 9400系列，以及更加新鲜出炉的Geforce 100M系列。不过，仍然需要注意的是，该公版驱动不支持明基Joybook S42、戴尔Vostro，富士通、富士通西门子Amilo Xi 3650、联想ThinkPad以及索尼VAIO笔记本，这些机型的用户驱动更新依然需要依赖笔记本厂商。
